I think you agree with my statement. E-commerce, which came up to serve easy and electronic shopping is a revolutionary idea. But, many of the e-shops aren't optimized. It'll be successful only if every element involved is analyzed and formulated. It is very important to understand the behavior of buyer, amount of time he can spend, browsers & average internet speed he uses etc., Several articles are on web discussing tips on improving e-commerce. Here, I'd like to discuss importance of web hosting & web design.

I'm becoming more impatient in this digital world. It's would definitely irk me if some website server is down. This is the most important factor which could double your business. Cheap & shared web hosting is offered by most of the sellers. Some even offer as low as 1 - 20 cents/mo. It's better to have dedicated servers for your website. Always see the bandwidth cap, average downtime, e-mail telnet, offered by the seller. Few months ago I purchased space which is served with faulty email telnet.It's always better to read authentic reviews before you look into webhosting.

Probably one of the most important factors of all. The design would directly create an impression about your business. If the user doesn't feel secure, bouncing rate will go high. A simple yet powerful interface must be considered for business purposes. Ease of access to every product is important. Half a year ago I coded a website for an automobile company. The owners were really good. They chose a simple design & asked to add videos and images which creates trust. Literally every page is coded with help & access to products. Live chat, toll free number, ssl certificate, feedback system, hassle free payment options, user reviews can multiply the business. The world relies on one word, 'TRUST'. It's available for purchase on web unlike real life.
