Google Images has changed! It's like any other stock website which allows you to browse images easily. Here are the highlights:
Images are well aligned: Google should have introduced this feature long back! But, Google image search quality, speed, & reliability never demanded this feature so far. This feature lets many images packed in a single page. Aesthetically it give a much soothing look than images aligned at fixed height and wide spaced.
Hover on the images: You don't see the image hosting url for every image which saves a lot of space and give uniformity to the alignment. You can enlarge the image, get details about image hosting by hover mouse on image. You might have experienced this in many stock images websites.
Website in the background: You just need a single click to save an image unlike the older version where you need a click more. Lightbox concept is adopted to display the image in foreground while corresponding website will he visible in the background with partial transparency.
Take a ride into Google Images and have fun searching images!
